About the venue

Durban International Convention Centre

About the host city

Durban, a coastal city in South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal province, is known for its African, Indian and colonial influences. The Golden Mile beachfront is a popular destination for surfers, joggers, sunbathers and water-sports enthusiasts. Refurbished for soccer's 2010 World Cup, the seafront promenade starts at uShaka Marine World, a huge theme park with an aquarium, and ends by the futuristic Moses Mabhida stadium.

The Port of Durban, commonly called Durban Harbour, is the largest and busiest shipping terminal on the African Continent. The port is strategically placed on major international shipping routes, and is South Africa's main cargo and container port.
